ABOUT ME
Alba Martín was born in Zaragoza, Spain, in 1987. She received the M.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering in 2011 and the Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2012, both at the University of Zaragoza.
She joined the Biomedical Signal Interpretation and Computational Simulation group in 2011. In 2017, she obtained the Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering under a Joint Ph.D program between University of Zaragoza and the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering, from Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy). After one year as a Post-Doc researcher at Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red (CIBER-BBN) within the BSICoS group, she moved to the Biomedical Engineering Department at Lund University (Lund, Sweden) in 2019. From September 2020, she is a Juan de la Cierva post-doctoral fellow.
Her current research activity includes biomedical signal processing, with main interest of cardiovascular signals and especially regarding to ventricular repolarization dispersion analysis, risk stratification and atrial fibrillation.
