Biography

Konstantinos Mountris was born in Patras, Greece, in 1989. He received the degree in Physics and the master degree in Medical Physics from University of Patras, Patras, Greece, in 2012 and 2014, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2017 in Technology for Biology and Health from Université de Bretagne Occidentale, Brest, France. During his Ph.D. thesis, he worked on soft tissue biomechanical modeling and inverse optimization methods for the improvement of low dose rate prostate brachytherapy. Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow belonging to the University of Zaragoza. His research interests are focused on computational modelling and biomechanical simulation in cardiac electro-mechanics for characterization of cardiac ageing effect on cardiac arrhythmia.
