ABOUT ME
Carlos Sánchez was born in Zaragoza, Spain, in 1984. He received the M.Sc. degree in telecommunication engineering and the Master’s degree in biomedical engineering in 2008 and 2009, respectively, from the University of Zaragoza. He obtained his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering at the University of Zaragoza in 2014. He is currently an associate professor at Unizar, in the Area of Automatic Systems Engineering, within the Department of Computer Science and Systems Engineering (DIIS). He is also a member of the Biosignal Interpretation and Computational Simulation (BSICoS) research group of the University of Zaragoza. His main fields of interest are multiscale computational modelling of the human heart and its applications, and heart rate variability in hyperbaric environments.
