ABOUT ME
Franziska Stolte obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering. Her previous research includes the characterization of atrial substrate using LGE-MRI and local impedance data, as well as deep-learning refinement of physical based electromagnetic source imaging.
In 2026, she joined BSICoS as a PhD researcher within the European Marie Skłodowska-Curie TrackAF network, supervised by Esther Pueyo and Javier Ramos. Her research combines biomedical signal processing and computational modeling to investigate how autonomic regulation, age, and sex influence treatment outcomes following pulsed field ablation and cryoablation in atrial fibrillation patients.
