Biography
Laura García Mendívil was born in Zaragoza, Spain, in 1993. She received the degree in Biotechnology in 2015 and the master in Molecular and cellular biology in 2016, both from University of Zaragoza. She joined the Biomedical Signal Interpretation and Computational Simulation (BSICoS) group in 2017, where she is currently working on her Ph.D. Her research interests are focused on characterizing cellular and molecular mechanisms that underlie age-associated human cardiac-remodeling and to use these data to feed computational human models of cardiac electro-mechanics.
