The present Spanish Network for Research in Cardiac Computational Modeling has the mission of promoting collaboration between different Spanish groups with extensive experience in the field of cardiac computational modeling. The general objective of the network is to facilitate and accelerate the development, implementation and application of computational models in biomedical research. For this, one of the objectives is the pooling and integration of the computational tools and models developed by each of the groups, and jointly investigate and develop a cardiac computational model that adapts to the characteristics of each patient, and can be used by both medical professionals and medical technology companies. It is a multidisciplinary network in which its members investigate the heart from different points of view: electrophysiological, biomechanical or cardiovascular, together with experts in numerical methods and high-performance computing.
